I am having an issue with the background rendering. The services start up fine but when I try to do a render I get the "Unknown error has occurred, please retry the job". I am at a loss as to what else to try and do. Any ideas as to the issue? FYI regular rendering works just fine.
I cannot confirm. All worked fine. The only issue is the green indicator for running background services. This indicator goes on and off erraticly. During sequence render it was initially light green, then became green with rotating circle, then went off again, and after some render time it became light green again, and finally green with rotating circle. This indicator is a mess. Sorry for the delay as I have been out of town. I followed up on this problem directly with Avid support and two different techs each spent at least 1.
